Dove in BNE

Was sitting on the beach at Straddie a short while ago and what looked like a Dehavilland Dove flew past. Is there such an aircraft from the general BNE area?
Couldn't tell if it had Gypsy engines or the Lycoming conversion but it certainly sounded good.

Was Woc out for a jolly.
The 104 Squadron flies most weekends.
Membership in the Squadron is now open. You too can be a part owner in this magnificent piece of flying art deco, for very little cost.
