ATPL law exam

Hi,

I am about to study for this exam and have borrowed my friends notes. However these notes are about 6 months old. Do you think the exam would've changed after September 1 that would now make these notes useless?

Thanks

I sat it in the first week of September. There are some part 61-based questions, but they haven't removed the old ones either. So keep using the notes you've got, but make sure to study up on the Part 61 regs (esp. The new 48.1 and recency) as well.

Having a look through Part 61 I notice there is a bit about Instrument recency. Will the question specify which reference to refer to for a recency question?

Do what you can to talk to people who did the last round, or any of the schools like Bob Tait, the talk around the traps was that it had a lot of Part 61 questions, and the pass rate was 00.0%.

When I did it the only questions that specified which regulations to look at were flight and duty ones.

The IFR and general recency questions I just had to take a punt based on the terminology in the question (i.e. if it mentioned 2D or 3D then it was probably based on Part 61).
