GAM Nosewheel up at YMEN

Media reports in all the usual places - photos show it pretty clearly - no nosewheel down with predictable results.

Good to see the pilot wearing his flak jacket as he exited. Then checking his watch to record the IN time! Nice work! :cool:

Was quite an event !!:8

Does the company get a bill for each RFS vehicle that is called out. If so all those fire engines surrounding the AC get totted up it would be a fair amount of $$$:{

From a mate who works for GAM, the pilot did a good job limiting damage, the aircraft is airworthy again today at midday.

onehitwonder 27th Nov 2014 01:58

New skid plates I believe on the nose gear?

Hasselhof 27th Nov 2014 01:59

According to FlightAware it's on its way to Adelaide already :ok:

Well done to the pilot, great work. Well done to the engineers to get it up and going again, great work :ok:
