Air Ambulance

Depends on the region and terrain. Pc12, King Air, Challenger 604. Used to operate the Hawker 800XP but the door is too narrow so you have to remove the over-wing exit to get a stretchered patient in. It does a great job though. A qualified medical team will know what equipment you need. Are you setting an operation up, it's pretty vital you know what you're doing.

What's a "Regular" air ambulance sortie? How many patients? What sector length? Emergency or just patient transfer? Picking up from a runway or un-improved strip? What are the local regulations applicable on single V multi-engine?

In other words, your question is far to vague. The answer could be a C210, or a C130 depending on the particular missions you are targeting.
