Flight training in Darwin

Hi!

Are there many places to convert CPL licence in Darwin or nearby, or is it better to do it in Perth for example?

No decent flying schools in Darwin, try any other capital city. Perth has plenty of options.

Definitely do it somewhere else

Is there any SE hire at all available in Darwin or Katherine?

YBCR has a 182 from memory you can hire, just talk to the guys at Coomalie Air Maintenance. Also I think there's a plane or 2 at MKT thats available as well.

When I first got back to darwin 5 years ago after training, I chucked an ad in the NT News for plane hire, got a few responses from locals with planes, might be an idea?
