Gatton Crash

Heard earlier an aircraft was on fire at Gatton (W of Brisbane), seems it is related to this; Aircraft incident, Gatton - QPS News

RIP

Edit: Pulled up the address given on googlearth, immediately adjacent to the airpark I see. The ABC report speaks of the plane touching down in the next door transport depot and bouncing before collecting an embankment.

RV-6 I believe that lived at the Gatton Air Park. Other pilot resident reported the aircraft doing low level aeros over and near the runway and hit some concrete blocks off the northern end….

Very sad..

Folks,
That'll do it every time.
Remember the sage advice: "Only fly in the middle of the air, all the accidents happen at the edges".
Tootle pip!!
