old unused a/c
 
was wondering if anyone could help me im interested in finding out about an old a/c. rego vh-les ,a piper pa28-151 that has been sitting out at camden unused for quite a few years.I would like to try to find the owner to maybe purchase the a/c

ah yes i tried that.said it was owned ny ge australasia and got onto them and they say they sold it to jhb aquisitions in 197? but no one knows who they are!I might just ask the groundman at the airport.they sem to know a lot

I did my PPL test in VH-LES many years ago, and before that, it was with the Aeroclub Canberra through the 90's.

I believe Airborne Aviation at Camden knows who owns it.

I also did my PPL in LES, I also redid the interior for Airborne Aviation when they owned it.

My 2007 aircraftreg file shows GE as the owner and Airborne as the operator. Looks a bit like it has reverted to GE now. I heard a while ago that Airborne has a few issues - there might be a connection.

Talk to Airborne.
