An aircraft had a runway excursion. No damage to aircraft or crew.

Interestingly enough the definition for excursion is:

"1. A usually short journey made for pleasure; an outing" -http://www.thefreedictionary.com/excursion

So I take it that a runway excursion is a short journey off the runway made for pleasure?

Don't think the pilot would agree.:}

Thankfully no crew damage, but there definately IS aircraft damage.
No worries mate, just gotta get back on the horse.

Interesting to note the percentage increase vs the amount reported / visible in the 'Safety' publications.................... over the last few years.
