Any more details out there? I've a mate spraying in the area ,but I can't get hold of him.

The aircraft was an Ayres turbo thrush G10 - being ferried from St George to Moree for scheduled heavy maintenance - the aircraft was on track and approximately 30 km from Moree. The pilot was JW.

Very sad news indeed, condolences to his family and in particular his fiance. Tragic, tragic accident and still coming to terms with the loss, the world is a duller place with the passing of such a nice bloke.
