Diploma

Hi guys,
I would like to know if there is any difference between the diploma of aviation and CPL+MECIR and advanced diploma of aviation and ATPL theory + diploma or if they're just 2 names for the same thing.

Also, providing there is a difference, to do the diploma would it require CPL in the form of cert. IV to be completed first?
Thanks
DD

No difference - its all a load of crap (but it gets you out of paying GST for your training).

Just work out what aviation qaulification you need to get a job (and by qaulification I mean CPL + any ratings).

And good luck!

So I take it that the word diploma is the fancy name for 150 hr CPL+MECIR course.
Another Q, I have the option of doing heavily discounted training up to PPL with scouts, but would this mean I would have to do the 200hr cpl with GST?
Thanks

The scouts should be able to give you that advice.
