Any strengthening of the rumours within QF regarding the possibility of the 320/321 neo's being the likely replacement for the 737 at QF when they come?

Australian Aviation 23rd of February:

In terms of fleet developments, previously Qantas had targeted first delivery of the 99 Airbus A320neo (new engine option) family aircraft the airline group has on order from the end of calendar 2017. The order is for 54 A320neo and 45 of the larger A321neo.

…..or swap 'em for 350's.

I don't know a lot about the 350 but it does seem that these 321 Neo's in particular are the bees knees. They're talking about 20% less fuel burn on a per seat basis, partly because they can fit more seats.

350's may well be great but smaller and lighter does seem like the latest thing.

That's my ill informed two cents anyway.

350 is completely different to a 321......

I wouldn't be surprised to see QF mainline go A320/321 - it seems like an aircraft whose time has definitely come. The ULD baggage loading alone makes a large difference in these days of minimal turn times and minimal manning levels. The 737 holds are also a real WHS problem by today's standards - they kill knees and backs and that's very much the company's problem in this day and age.
