AFAP or AIPA?
 

Hi guys,

I'm hoping to get a place on the Jetstar cadet scheme, once the kinks have been ironed out that is!

Anyway, my old man has always made sure to join the union and he's instilled it in me. From reading on here I know there's two unions in J*. AFAP is running the court case against the dodgy cadet contracts but I've read a few bad comments about AFAP on here too. What do you guys reckon? Is AFAP or AIPA the best bet?

Majority of J* pilots are AIPA members. They may also be AFAP members but I'm not sure.

You sound like a smart person, why you'd consider a J* cadetship baffles me.
