Crew Slips

So what do you International or domestic chappies and chappets do on a crew slip. I know the days of the 7 day slip are over, I believe a safari in South Africa was quite popular when it was a once a week service.

Where are the longest slips these days.

Are there any rules as to how far from the slip port one can wander or any rules for what activities you can/cant partake?

Is the Captain responsible for his crew on a slip.

What do you do?

Nothing worse than having a slip on a lay over.

I spend my slip days reading the company manuals, and ironing my uniform and shining my shoes so that i look immaculate when presenting for work.
it takes about four days to get the creases right on the shirts, using some of the irons supplied in slip hotel at the slip port on a slip.
