Skydive SW WA

Does anyone know of any good skydive places in SW Western Australia, from Perth south? I am looking for jumping, not flying (already have a job). I really want somewhere reputable where I can do the AFF licence jumps as all my previous parachuting was in the military.

Cheers

Been a few years since I did any skydiving but when I did it was with skydive express Skydive Express. Skydiving and parachute tandem jumps Perth Western Australia sky dive with Skydiving Professionals
Good clubrooms, full facilities, a cessna caravan configured for the purpose. dropzone is up in York about an hour out of perth, nice country town. Enjoy.

Skydive Express out of York. They haven't lost too many over the years :} but there a few small circular depressions in that neck of the woods.

Check out the APF dropzone locator here. Also if you havn't already, it's worth checking out the skysurfer forums.

All the best for your AFF! :ok:

Skydive Express is certainly one of the more modern outfits in terms of aircraft and facilities. Nice and close to the town of York too if you want to get away from the DZ for a coffee and a meal or just head to the pub.

WA Skydive Academy operates two C182s. Used to have a PA31 until they kept running it out of fuel.

Hillman Farm is the only truly club operation in WA. It's a bit of a drive but the atmosphere there is great. They have a C182 and occasionally use Busselton's Islander.

Busselton doesn't do too much these days but maybe worth giving them a call also. Friendly bunch of ex military types.

I made this a couple of years ago, but should be pretty accurate still.

=========================
Only happened once and they got another pretty soon after - still have it although I hear they are about to replace it with a GA Airvan to go with the current two 182s.

Just out of Pinjarra, which like a lot of towns these days has been revamped with a moderate shopping precinct with a lot of the small shops and coffee type establishments along with one or two of the larger chains.

Busselton does still operate.
