Ultralight Training Costs
I'm doing some research for a friend. He has bought an ultralight and is trying to find an Instructor to learn him how to make it go. He already has a VH license.
He is getting big variations in the hourly rate for an Instructor, using his own aircraft. Could someone tell me what is a realistic hourly rate to pay an AUF Instructor. Thanks |
In the real world they should charge $80 an hour like your local motor mechanic or plumber. Practically, the industry won't stand those rates, so a lot of these guys are instructing in their spare time as a part-time hobby. It may come as cheap as half that rate. Shop around.

Thank you.

Should be able to find someone around 50 bucks an hour or there abouts.
