J* pilot hold pool
 

Hi everyone,

Anyone have an idea how 'deep' the jetstar hold pool is and has there been any start dates given recently for an Australian basing?

Must be pretty deep i would say. As far as i know they have not stopped doing interviews sinc early Feb.
Few guys getting calls for start date in 2-3 weeks time. Know of four who have but two are on VB ground school and one is starting with them in 2 weeks.
E-mail sent out a couple of days re the ad in the australian for flt crew, NZ and singapore.

I was called last week to provide a reference for one of my blokes - got chatting and I was told that they're not hiring for Australia for a while. :hmm:

thought as much, got the email about SIN, Vietnam and NZ but not really an option for me.

There is a course of 10 starting on Sep 11...

Hold pool has more than 60 in it...

The hold pool extends all the way to the bottom of the barrel.

And then overseas.

Heard they havent been telling people which base or contract they'll be on until the ground course.

I have been told at least one refused to start until they told him.

Be careful out there and dont assume anything till its in writing!

Another quality display of this company's attitude toward those who move the levers and switches and actually make money for them. A perfect gauge of their respect for applicants.

How can ANYONE take their offer seriously, and not be insulted by it?! My mind boggles...
