Please can I have a soft copy of C404 POH.

Night Bandit 26th Sep 2017 03:35

I have a hard copy of a C404 manual, which I would like to keep, but happy to have it copied if you would like to borrow it.

Ixixly 26th Sep 2017 04:01

Night Bandit and others, don't go to Officeworks to get it copied, heck of a cost when I did it recently!! If you're still looking let me know, I have a soft copy I can send you.

As per Ixixly; I also have a soft copy (which was copied from an example someone once loaned me etc etc;))

I once had it copied quite a few years ago, by an Office Supply company here in the Riverland area of SA for a fellow Ppruner and the cost was about $20. The Company concerned has since changed owners but next time I'm in that part of the district I shall call in to enquire if they still can provide the service.

For the information of fellow Pilots; I have copies of the C404, C421 and C441 POH.

I stumbled over this thread on google. I know you've had a lot of requests over the last 7 years!!! Does anyone still have a soft copy that they're willing to share? Would be extremely grateful. TIA

Hello captains
My name is Luis, I am writing to you because I would like to know if you still have the C404 manual available in .pdf, I would be very grateful since I will start flying this plane soon and it would be very useful for me to know it beforehand.
Thank you very much and happy day

C404

There is a previous thread called C402 and C404 Info.

Check list.
1. Reduce speed and select Flap10 Before starting descent.
2. Reduce MP at less than 1 imch per minute on descent.
3. Plan so as to achieve 1 and 2 to arrive in CCT at 120 kn or thereabouts.
4. Allow turbochargers to cool before shutdown
(If not your check pilot will swear at you and hit you).

All else is standard.

select Flap10 Before starting descent.
Ummm....I have never heard or been told that one by any C400 series Operator I have ever worked for, or known for that matter!:=

Capt Fathom 6th Mar 2022 10:08

I thought flaps were used for landing, not for descent?

Signed C310 402 421 driver!
