Aft,unsw, L.t Atpl

I've been researching deeply into finding the best Atpl course.

Best places I've found so far that interest me are:

AFT
Lionel Taylor
UNSW (Len Sales)

From what I've "heard" on the grape vine, AFT seems quite good, although I'm concerned with the class sizes (54) and also how the class is made up, i.e half of the 54 are new students and the other half or so are returning students that are repeating classes. Therefore I would image some of the class would be far ahead of the new students thus making this confusing for the newbies, (already ahead/completed syllabus etc).

If anyone has any feedback whether this is the case or not or has any other current info on other providers, it would be much appreciated.

Cheers

AFT course is done at the same pace every time. Its just a refresher for those who are having a bit of trouble but its aimed at those who haven't studied the subject.

Im with Eco, I found the class size not the problem, its the beach and the nice wx that is an issue! :)

Nathan is very patient and will answer any questions if you have them. If you still dont get anything, he stays back after class and you can get a few mins alone with him then.

Top that off with the fact that hes always available on his mobile should you need it!!

AFT #1!!!

I have to give Gavin Secombe a rap at Secombe Aviation.

ATPL | Classrom Courses | Correspondence | ATPL Exams

He knows the subjects inside and out, extensive notes and practice exams and small class sizes.:ok:

AFT Gets my vote :ok: Yes it was a large class but it worked well, only two or three doing repeats in my classes. You do get one on one if you need it, but I found the course to be very good and achieved positive results :ok:

Nathan (AFT) was/is terrific. I did mine with him a 100 yrs ago 9feels like it) and if he could get this old bugga thru then anybody can make it. The ATPL is almost useless anyway once it's passed so just got thru the motions. You learn the real world of flying out there, not in some class room. Am sure the rest as mentioned hare are just as good but as was said oh those beaches:ok:
Nathan, one hell of a nice guy,now that's two I know of:}

Thanks for the input guys,

also found Professional Pilot Theory on the Goldie, can anyone shed any light?

Someone suggested that the old boss of GFS, come Oxford may also still do ATPL theory?
