Natfly 2010
Hi all, I just came across this site as a wrap-up from Natfly 2010 at Temora.
Apparently trip reports etc will find their way up there shortly. It was a good event and for the most part the ultralight guys behaved themselves. www.natfly.com.au |
.................and no photo of the Retard Vehicle on its refuelling stop :=

I'm still chasing the NATFLY award results. Any help?

I saw one......... And some fecker in a Gyro cutting me off as I departed, but you get that I suppose! poor MEL CEN was having a hard time of it.......and that was just the ones he could see! |
I was getting traffic reports with RIS for a while. They mutually gave up in the end.

Going by the above I'm glad I chose to drive down. I must say a most enjoyable day was had by yours truly and the KRviatrix (Who incidentally has now christened Jon Johanson "South Pole Man":oh:)...
Best part for me was being able to play with the TruTrak and Dynon EFIS setups, as well as being able to point to an RV-7 and say "that one", then have her spy the -10 parked down the taxiway and decide she likes it more. One way or another, a productive trip. :ok: |
which -10 was that?
J:ok: |
which -10 was that? Went along for the talk on building the RV-12 by Van's brother and it was parked right outside. So, if it belongs to a PPruner, you have my thanks.:ok: |

They were certainly Garmin 1000's. Or maybe 900's. They both look the same to me (out of my price range:{)...Side by side, very big, very Garmin, very expensive looking... Most definately not Dynon Skyview/GRT/AFS/MGL/Chelton or any of the "traditional" glass cockpit suppliers to homebuilders, more's the pity as if/when I get an RV, it's probably Dynon's Skyview system I'll be installing in it.
A bit of investigative work has me thinking it may have been VH-XLD... http://www.steinair.com/G900X/RRPG900x.jpg Image pinched from SteinAir's website |
Very sneaky XXX.....
A quick check of the CASA A/C rego's reveals LLL to be a PA-39....I've just got to get me one of those newly configured PA-39's..... Well done.... Stiky... :ok: |
Why do people need two GPS's?:ooh:
|
Because the 430's and similar still can't compete with the 296-495.

Forkair SOPs stipulate three (3) as minimum equipment. Dr :8 |
Mate of mine went to Tamora (RV 7A driver)and said he was not impressed.
