Kak Air's ad

"Additional flight duties will be required (when not required in C208) in Petrol twins."

That's novel. I wonder if they have a dispensation for the use of MOGAS?

Capetonian 29th Jan 2010 10:43

Kak Air .... I hope they never try to operate in or to South Africa.

Car RAMROD 29th Jan 2010 11:14

noticed that too, spike.

should they have meant 'piston' ?

funny nevertheless!

eeper23 29th Jan 2010 11:32

u dont need a dispensation. its just another ga cost cutting implementation lol

Ixixly 29th Jan 2010 11:48

which ad is this?

multime 29th Jan 2010 11:53

Carrot

The theory is you must prostitute yourself, then receive the abundance of experience and personnal satisfaction.
Bit like another company (close by) with 20-30 year old C206,s offering out of the goodness of their hearts ifr time on a C310.??????
Thanks for nothing Luther @ Karen
Funny now though.
Cheers
M:ok:

Piston could also be Jet A1

goldypilot 29th Jan 2010 13:05

hahah petrol. i love it. i laughed at that too. ut i guess it means the same thing ay. so you must teach a bunch on pelicans to fly a caravan. not hard as its just a 172(most people think its a space shuttle)and these mob are just airvan drivers at heart or will they get more experienced drivers for the darwin base. will be interesting tho:cool:

wasathangi 30th Jan 2010 22:42

Hmmm.

Multi and Goldy,

What if one has the experience both multi and 208. Then decides to apply? If the pay is good, why not?

Whats wrong with supporting low houred guys to get some turbine time?

So Goldy, is the 208 like a 172? Oh my:rolleyes:.

Howard Hughes 30th Jan 2010 22:46

Nothing like a 172, the 172 is way more complex!:E

PS: Goldy what do you mean by 'just Airvan' drivers?:ooh:

goldypilot 31st Jan 2010 07:20

aaaaa gotta love the **** stirring on prune. YES its like a 172 or 206. all for them giving low time drivers work. this is why i say its not like a space shuttle so give em a go ay. is Bob still there these days or did he get a job with an airline. haha

Xcel 31st Jan 2010 12:10

multime few sour grapes their mate?? dont see any carrot - stick with the 172 theory of goldypilot...

i wonder if they are planning space flights though... 300 hours on caravan wow big step up from those "petrol" style things..

geez that old geeser must be off his rocker how dare he call a piston twin a petrol twin... must be time to join that airline.. clearly gone troppo...

:}

capetonian -

I hope they never try to operate in or to South Africa.
might take a while in the caravan...

goldypilot 31st Jan 2010 18:46

just in...
They will send you to the moon in their new space shuttle if you walk the chief pilots dog for 12 months. Don't think about an endo on the machine untill you have walked the dog for 3years

Xcel 2nd Feb 2010 01:10

and picked up its poo....

it is a space shuttle after all... no ruskies allowed :ok:

multime 2nd Feb 2010 12:36

Yeh i,m sticking with the C172, but i,ll pay a few landing fee,s on finals.!
News hot off the press though.
Free Space shuttle endo (although that been canned) and their also throwing in F18, SR71, and Aurora endo,s for free.
But you do have to drive the minivan for 6-12 mths.!!:E

Xcel 3rd Feb 2010 18:31

Minivan does require space station docking time....
