Hi

Does anyone know what happened to Tiger Flt TT842 from Adelaide to Sydney this morning. Had some friends on that flight which was delayed by over 3 hours and weren't told anything about the technical delay.

Heard they had a cracked piston head in the left outboard engine

Longrass is on the money, the crew noticed some large differences in CHT that warranted further investigation which found the crack. Possibly due to their ongoing LOP operating procedures.
