DC-3 Steps Wanted

Have you seen one of these around lately?

They are easy enough to replicate but the Queensland Air Museum would like to have the genuine article.

It doesn't have to be TAA and F.27 steps would be just as welcome. Any leads appreciated.

There was (up to recently at least) a set on the dump at Kalgoolie airport.
Try Skywest or airport management for info.

I've got a set sitting on my vacant block if anyone wants them! No identification on them though & would need painting & steps fixed/replaced.

Set here at Charleville, if you want a photo or measurements>
They were also used for F27's.

Think yours might be closer than mine skywagon! ;)

Thanks to everyone who has responded. DF and 185 have sent PMs.

Wunwing, thanks for the heads up but I was hoping for something a bit closer to Caloundra. We won't discount Kalgoorlie though.

UPDATE

Just to bring closure to this thread, the Queensland Air Museum now has its set of steps. They are the same set that Wunwing located on the Kalgoorlie tip. It turns out they are genuine MMA F.27 steps which is ideal because that's what QAM wanted them for. Thanks to Wunwing for the heads-up and thanks to HARS for transporting them from coast to coast. They'll need "a bit of bog, bit of paint" but they'll scrub up nicely. Photo taken yesterday with QAM's F.27 VH-FNQ.
