Letter of appointments
Has anyone had issues with the new 'letter of appointment' terms & conditions. I am changing desks basically in Sydney but I have a 10 page document that jibbers heavy legal jargon.
Just to change cost centres. |

Yeah, I think it's common to make these "Letters of Appointment" full with legal jargon so by the time you get to page 3, you have absolutely no idea what they're saying so you just sign the darn thing anyway. If you're really concerned about what your contract says, it may pay to hire a lawyer to explain it all to you before you sign your life away. It may cost you $500 to do this, but better to be safe than sorry.

I think the same Elton. Phrases like "replace all prior written and oral representations...." and " as directed by the Red Rat" ???? Sounds like the buggery continues.
