CASA & JAA CPL Combined?

Hi. I guess it's unlikely, though is it possible to combine training and assessment for these? I've contacted WAAC but not had a response as yet - I know they plan to offer JAA CPL training. The CASA and JAA training and assessment seems almost identical so would it not be possible in theory to combine the training and test at an FTO that offers both, to achieve both licenses at the same time?

Hi - sorry for the bump but I'm sure their must be dual citizens out there that this would be a useful information for? Any new ideas from new thread readers?

You can do JAA training at CTC in Hamilton, New Zealand. This has the dual advantage of being more fun than doing it in the Europe, and not requiring you to go to Australia (which no right-minded person would want to do... dust storms... fire storms... poisonous snakes/insects/jellyfish... etc...:})

Once you have your Kiwi CPL, you can just swap it for an Aussie one under the provisions of TTMRA. Easy peasy!
