Jeppesen ammendments

Just about to do revision number 17, but just as I checked my record of revisions, I havnt signed number 16...

Maybe I forgot to sign it... Can someone tell me they first couple of pages that got amended in number 16 so I can check?

Thanks

I didn't sign off 16 or 17 either.

The previous amendment I did was the 21st of Aug which I think was 17.
17 has in the chart change notices the CTAF update to Ballarat, Newman and Paraburdoo?

7th of August would have been 16 I think, which had an replacement for the master table of contents.

Amendment 18 should be issued for this Friday, 4th of Sept.

I had done it, just forgot to sign it,

Just inserted 17 then, as it came into effect last friday

Thanks again

No probs

As to when they come into effect, it's a contentious issue......

tmpffisch - I think I can help ... Is a good question!

Documents and charts issued in accordance with the AIRAC cycle
become effective at 1600 hours UTC on the day prior to the
nominated date unless otherwise notified; eg, a document with an
AIRAC date 26 Jun becomes effective 06251600UTC (ie, during
Australian Eastern Standhours local on 26 Jun).

If Jepp amendments become effective only on AIRAC dates, why are the Jepp issue dates every Friday fortnight, while AIRAC dates are every 4th Thursday of the month?

There was a thread about this a while back, but I can't find it at the moment.
Story from Jeppesen was the charts are effective immediately unless they have an AIRAC effective date.

So (for the sake of committing this to memory) effectively at Midnight Perth time on the AIRAC date. Thanks for pointing that one out (Pilot Quiz Night at the Deroclub here I come).:ok:
