3 wheels up landings with toll aircraft in the last 3 months, love the insurance premium

Falconx, I have no idea where you got that from but I assure you you are incorrect.

There was this one at Brisbane, but it was in February so more than three months ago.

Brisbane Airport Delays After Plane Belly Lands
Investigation: AO-2012-024 - Wheels-up landing - Fairchild SA227-AT (Metro), VH-UZA, Brisbane Airport, 15 February 2012

3 wheels up landings
nose gear, left main gear and right main gear - that's 3 wheels up on landing.

Worrals in the wilds 23rd Aug 2012 22:37

Is that wheely true? :E:}

gobbledock 23rd Aug 2012 23:22

Worrals is correct. Only one 'wheels up', in BNE.

Three CEO's in a couple of years is interesting, however you may find that there is a level of frustration at that level because you are trying to run an AOC with funding from a predominately trucking and logistics company. The parent group doesn't neccesarily understand that aviation systems and requirements are different to trucking systems.

Regardless, it would still be amusing to see the angry man come back!!

I did this painting of the Toll Metro with its wheels up :}

As always, great painting. :ok:
Is there a lighting outage at the airport though? ;)
EDIT: just realised that's not YBBN. Which port is it?

With that kind of centre line maintenance on departure I'm pretty sure I know who the pilot is too :E
