Darwin Back Packers

Anyone know of a good back packers to stay at when I hit town in a few weeks?

Maleleuca on Mitchell. Top spot in the middle of town, nice rooms, bar and pools up top, and kitchen as well if you wish to cook for yourself.

Think the going rate for a bed was about $20-30 a night or something.

Chillis Backpackers is also on Mitchell St, right opposite Melaleuca. Only $21 a night for dorm bed, also has kitchen pool etc but no bar. Can get a car park, and most backpackers have meal vouchers available for a free dinner at The Vic

Forget about the Back packers.

Go straight to the Bagot Community and enjoy the experience of living like a true local :ok:

Have booked into the Banyan View after reading some good feed back on the back packer sites. Thanks all for your input

I see you took the advice provided, have fun in the best ****hole in town, known for bed bugs, sausage festivals and chlymidia, take a malaria injection before you arrive to, enjoy Darwin!
