The cafeteria guy at AF has been told by GB that he can stay another year.

Why the change of heart?

Did they realise that the loss of one months rent alone may be non recoverable even if they found a new tennant?

There is more to this than meets the eye. I don't believe for a minute that an overwhelming feeling of decency and conscience struck GB.

The cafeteria guy was one week late in going to GB to renew his lease, because GB is the type he is...saw this as a way to wrest control of a good little business away from the rightful owner. would only guarantee lessee one year tenure. Current cafeteria guy has had the business there for six years and to my knowledge has never been late in ANY rent payments. You have to realise that GB has an agenda with AF and aviation is NOT on it in any major way. This will be yet another nail in the coffin to carry away the corpse of a once vibrant aviation community that was YBAF:ugh:
