He was ex GA. Couldn't get a better bloke... He was one of the good guys always looked out for his mates!! Its an absolute tragedy and we are all still in shock and cant believe it....One of the most reliable genuine guys I have known...miss you buddy...hope your at peace now mate...

Unbelievable !

If he was your "Friend" like so many of you claim you're worried about you would have a phone number to call, text or email him. More like someone you met through someone else who now flys with QF. These are not "mates" but rather acquaintances Most of you are just wanting to know the story so you can gossip some more, just like the bottom feeding scum that Keg talks about. I had many mates in LAX at the time and I will tell you the last place I would go to find out details is PPRUNE. When someone alerted me to this thread I was truly disgusted. As for being "precious", if that is what you get called for being respectful these days you can call me precious till the cows come home.
Grow up people and stop with "Condolences to friends and family" when all most of you care about is the personal details of a death.

His intentions nevertheless, were most likely honourable and I'm sure that he did not mean to cause any harm.
And precisely what were those intentions? To prove he was the first with the latest?

Stop it you pr!cks, a good man has died here, leave it alone, have some respect.

Now Listen Here!

Life is precious and taken for granted. Appreciate your friends while you can regardless of the circumstances. For those of you brave enough, let them know it.

Binoculars 14th Oct 2008 13:46

Sprite, I couldn't agree more, and it's only when I see these attention-seeking thread starters that scream "I'm the first to post it" that my hackles go up. Condolences to the family? Bull****, they don't even know them.

The whole forum would be better off without these premature threads. That's who should be showing some respect.

Spikey21 14th Oct 2008 13:54

I will second Sprite.

Much Ado 14th Oct 2008 14:19

Going to agree with laut and Binos.

Those who really knew the young man concerned don't need this thread to grieve and the rest of you are not grieving but something more akin to watching the Jerry Springer show...its just the same ghoulish curiosity that tabloid journalism attracts.
