Canadian instructor travelling to New Zealand

Hello. Any hints on where to look for work as a Canadian class III instructor travelling to NZ in the next few months? I'll be in the Auckland area as my girlfriend lives there and naturally have been looking at Ardmore airport which seems to house a lot of flight schools. Do most flight schools in NZ hire instructors from their own graduate pool or do they employ international instructors? I've researched the conversion process to the NZ CAA licences and seems fairly straight forward. Also, any general comments on the health of the NZ industry at the moment, specifically the instructing side would be appreciated. I know at my club here in Canada we can't keep enough instructors on staff right now as they leave for regionals or fractionals as quick as they come. I work in Victoria BC and we have a large international student base at the moment which I'm sure is similar to instructing in NZ. Been to NZ twice and absolutely love the country so am looking forward to and am open to any oppurtunity. Thanks in advance.

Grade 3 = C-Cat? Still a bit of work around instructing. I'd keep away from Ardmore though. Plenty of other flying schools around NZ.
