Aerorescue T & C

Anyone have any updated info on the T & C's at Aerorescue? The info I have is over 2 years old.

Captains base 120000 FOs 72000 add to that a flying rate of 60 an hour most bases you average 250hrs a year. You get 6 weeks off a year but you are not forced to take it your roster works around 4 on 4 off only day light hours at the base most bases have 5 captains so you do between 10 and 12 days a month.

Gg, please check your PMs.

wtfia 25th Dec 2011 21:24

Does anyone know if these numbers are still accurate please?

004wercras 25th Dec 2011 22:05

With all due respect to GG, wish he'd never left! Believe new hire Captain's would not get anywhere near the 120k mark, more like 85-95k. The average hrs per base is steadily dropping as well, some pilots are below a 100hrs per year.

Word of advice unless your a brown nose, yes man, who want's to fly less than a PPL DON'T DO IT ! :=:=

wtfia 26th Dec 2011 00:34

Thank you. Always sad to see pay drop, especially by that margin. Seems its inevitable in aviation these days. Interesting crew utilisation!

Yap-Yap 26th Dec 2011 01:40

thats a hefty pay cut! are days on spent standby on base or at home?

Shed Dog Tosser 26th Dec 2011 03:43

Less than 100 hours per year, where do I sign up ?.

Howard Hughes 26th Dec 2011 03:58

$120k, 12 days a month, 250 hours per year? Pity they don't have a Sydney base...:{

Shed Dog & Howard...Be Careful what you wish for!!:\

Thinking about applying again. Happy to get some PM's from those in the know re current T & C and anything else.

Thanks in advance.

I heard there are two FOs leaving YPPH base, don't believe there will be any Captain positions for a while though.

Perth fly the least of all the bases, I heard less than a 100hrs a year is pretty common. They also recently lost their Check Captain, which was a shame because he was our best C&T pilot by the proverbial mile.

Green gorilla 27th Dec 2011 07:00

We do between 200 to 300 in Perth I have never been below 250 Our check and trainer went to jets 5 years in search and rescue would be enough for most people.

BPA 27th Dec 2011 09:22

Any updated info would be great.

Livinthedream320 28th Dec 2011 09:45

So maybe slots avaliable for the Perth base, or does anyone have information regarding bases etc etc.

Cheers

Anyone know how much long the contract is for? I've seen 7 and 10 years with some sources saying the contract started in 2005 and others saying 2007.

Green gorilla 29th Dec 2011 10:53

Each base expires around 6 to 9 months apart not taking into consideration contract extensions.

pinkpanda 3rd Jan 2012 21:30

G'day GG how's flogging around on the F100 treating you?

We do between 200 to 300 in Perth
Was that before or after losing the Customs flying?

I have never been below 250
Does that include your C&T hours? I always thought YPPH spent most of their time flying rockets and model airplanes rather than the Dornier!

BPA most people I know in AR are looking to get out, mainly due to a moron CP.:ugh::ugh:

BAT74 11th Jan 2012 13:27

I think you got the wrong monkey, Green Gorilla is not who you think he is

mudpig 30th Jan 2012 05:36

So does anyone have any updates on pay for this company? Any help would be great.
PM's would be great if you don't want to post. Thanks
