ATPL check ride

Hi, does anyone know an examiner in NZ with the ability to do the ATPL ride in the B737-300/400? It would be a foreign licence to NZ CAA ride.

yep..Air New Zealand at Auckland international airport. They have a B733 sim and sim instructors that can issue ATPLs. The question is "will they". The answer is, probably if the price is right.

All the other 73 operators do their checks in Melbourne in a sim over there I believe. They must have sim instructors able to issue NZATPLs too.

Thanks,
I'm working for Jetconnect and I think ANZ has already been eliminated. JC has noone. The CAA is a bit stiff! $1200 for the ride!

Yes Air NZ do NZ ATPL flight tests in the B733 simulator, for non Air NZ pilots, as well as their own.

Air NZ also do the D Cat issue test for jet connect instructors so may pay to check again.

Air NZ have three flight examiners auth by NZ CAA for ATPL and two for D cat issue, finding a sim slot might be the hard part this month but end of Jul and August might be OK.

Then again Jet Connect have the S2 simulator slot perm booked at the Air NZ B733 sim.
