aero commander endorsement/IR renewal

Does anyone know of anywhere in oz that does an aero commander endorsement and/or an IR renewal in an aero commander??

Tasmanian Aero Club in Launceston might be able to do that. They used to have a Shrike (VH-LET) on-line there but it may be back on the mainland.

Tasair in Hobart also have Aero Commanders (Shirkes) but not sure whether they do endorsements and IR renewals for non-staff.

Both might be worth a call.

Can confirm Tasair have a commander with Garmin 530, linked to Stec 60-2 autopilot, 2 ADFs and 2 VORs. In Tassie everything's close by. Worth calling them re availability.

Hi guys,

Someone mentioned GAM. Does anyone have any feedback on their requirements for pilots in Adelaide? I might be keen on getting one of these endorsements as well if there's a chance of a job in my home town. But I only have 45hrs twin and need to renew my CIR-ME, which I am soon to do.

GAM were advertising a few weeks back for drivers, I think the mins they were advertising were along the lines of, 1500TT with 250 Multi PIC. But i do know of a few blokes who have been accepted with significantly less TT and 0 Multi PIC. I was told by one of their drivers that persistence and being available for an immediate start is the key. Hope that helps

Knowing a current or former pilot also helps!;)
