Qantaslink Progression to Qantas

If you get into Qantaslink, does that stop you getting into Qantas? Do they keep you there rather than lose you?

I believe now since the introduction of the Traineeship they offer a 2 year progression to mainline. Whether this is just for the traineeship I'm not too sure but they can't stop you from going to mainline:ok:

On one of the current courses there are 4 ex-Qantaslink people, that is out of a course of 16. Good ratio! I think that you get held up a bit though, seems to be only 2 from an AOC (Say Eastern) maximum per month. These people applied externally, so no "progression" to mainline.
