JAA info please (aus)
 

hi just wondering if anyone knows how and where i can obtain a JAA liscence in AUS, im currently doing my CPL and should be finished by the end of the year and im looking to go work in a european country.
Do i have to resit exams, or just pay a fee to convert.

WA Aviation College in Perth is the only school that does JAA training in Australia, or at least part of it.

No conversion, you need to resit all 14 JAA subjects, then pass CPL and ME/IR flight tests. For the latter the training has to be done in Europe anyway so...

protectionism at its best. Would be an idea to make it that hard for the conversion to aust.

Im pretty sure you can do your CPL flight test at WAAC now, but the rest will have to be in the UK or Europe!
