Have they got the formation sheep hanglider team this year?

The Romney Roulettes?

It was a daggy show...
It rained and they were drenched...
The spot landing with the rear legs into gumboots was a crowd pleaser...

I'll be there....if only to see one of Doug's 2 new aircraft!! My (9yr old) boy has been following the MX2's progress closely and is just about popping veins to see it!

Gawd...I got sick just looking at it slackie
Its one them overpowered point-uppy, jerk-sticky,stretch-face , black-outy thingies int it?

Slackie ,the spot near where the WAC is now I can recall in the olden daze a topdressing pilot in a Tiger Moth doing consecutive loops and running his wheels through the grass
Get yer mate to try that

slackie 13th Feb 2008 20:13

Sounds like a life limiting manouvre!!

tinpis 13th Feb 2008 23:58

Mate it was done every airshow
It was near the main road and the punters could see the Tiger looping and would swing in
The Tiger pilots could keep that stuff going for as long as they liked

Who remembers leaflet drops for air pageants?
Teams of small boys would race all over town and not one was left ungathered in the hope of winning a joy-ride in a Tiger
