Hey Guys, I'm from Canada and is trying to explore more things in the aviation industry, i have about 700 hours and about 60 multi (30 PIC), I have a canadian commercial, Instrument, Multi, and Instructor rating, I'm looking to work down there! I will instructor! Just looking for some places to apply to.
I know i need to get my conversion as well

It depends on what sort of flying you want to do. if you want GA type flying you could look at this link.

With those hours you could easily aply for REX, Virgin Blue or possibly jetstar. Just do a google and check out their websites.

Qantaslink are hiring pilots with as little as 200 hours now. Qantaslink fly regional Dash-8 Q300 and Q400 turboprops.

One word though, if you read a lot of the forums on here about T&C's for Aussie pilots here, things aren't all that rosy.

I don't think you would have any trouble getting an instructor job at all although the pay sucks.

Do you have the right to work here? That would be your first hurdle. Actually, I wouldn't mind working in Canada, myself but don't like my chances of getting a work permit there.

Shouldn't be a problem with the right to work. Pilots are on the governments "want" list at the moment.

Awesome, I'm not looking to go airline just yet, lol but the option is there, Is there any flight schools you recommend to work at? I know the pay isn;t that great up here either so I'm used to that portion of the job, lol. As well does anyone know how much it would cost for a conversion

I'm not sure about the conversion. You could try looking at the CASA website www.casa.gov.au .
I would go to one of the flying schools around one of the capital cities. I'm in Brisbane and there are loads here although the ones at Archerfield seem to cop a bad rap (maybe unfairly, maybe not). Redcliffe seems like a good club though.

There is a pretty big intructor hole that needs to be filled at Jandakot (Perth). There is the two big Asian flying colleges for Singapore Airlines and China Southern Airlines, both really need instructors and the work is full time. Or places like WA flying club, still full, but very different type of student compared to the Airline Colleges. Also with that twin time you could have a look at some of the smaller charter companies especially if you have a PA31 endorsment. Good luck with it.
