Metro Dogs

Could anyone shed some light on

The number of Emergency Exits required on a Metro3 ?

Cargo/Pax configuration ?

I see Airwork has a has a exemption for a Metro 23.

Umm, well the Metro III's that I flew all had two overwing exits. Thank goodness - nothing like having a choice with a wing/engine on fire....

Learn how to open the cargo door from the inside as well - just in case.
:ok:

3, 1 over each wing plus stairs.
Single row of seats each side. Weights / performance vary from models I, II, III and 23 (there was also a Merlin not famil with that rigs)
Hope this helps
PS The water meth makes a big dif in performance

On the Metro 3s that I flew (RPT PAX) it had 1 exit on the left hand over wing and 2 on the right hand side over the wing. Of course there is the entry door on the front left hand side and the fuselage too.

Watermeth is from the gods

Metro 23 requires the addition of an emergency exit opposite the forward entry when used for freight. The 3 does not require the extra emergency exit.
This is a result of different certification standards between the 3 and 23.

Im fairly sure that the metro 3's that sharp have are placed with 2 exit doors on the right wing and 1 on the left
