Jetflite - A couple of questions

Hey,

I am looking at going for the Jetflite cadetship and just have a quick question for those that may have completed the course.

It is directed at the 5 selection criteria questions that they ask.

I have nearly completed answering them but I am not too sure if I have written enough or too little. I would like to know if someone that has done the course can give me a bit of an indication as to how much they wrote to answer each question as I do not want to write too much or too little...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't worry to much about the application as I don't think that they are or soon will be operating. They where part of Jetcraft Aviation who at the moment are under administration and may no longer be after the 15th.
I could stand to be corrected though?

I'd stay clear, have known of some people who did the cadetship and if they were a bit slow on picking up the IF they were let go, with no pro-rata return on hours not flown but paid for.

Thats weird...

I called up the company thats doing the training for jetflite and they say they have a regular intake of cadets...

Can anyone else confirm??

rumour has it from a friend that they're no longer.

I'm studying for my CPL, and I'm wondering if all the who-ha re cadetships is worth it? I am of the mind that going out bush would be a great experience, and you finish in 18mths-2yrs with command hours that you can use to your advantage, and get straight into the RH seat (FO).

I hear that graduate's of the QF cadetship are SO's for some time. Is it true that you require command time to advance as captain? If so, what is the use of doing a 41-82k cadetship though QF if you can't advance?

What does an SO do? Most guys believe they're airborne barista's?

Does anyone have any email/phone contacts for people from the QF cadetship program?

How can I privately supply my email address to PPrune for guys who want to answer my questions re supply of personal QF contacts? I'm sure it is preferred that they're not widely spread.

Cheers, and smooth landings. Ode to the 172.
