Twin Locator Approaches

Hi everyone, I'm about to have crack at the qantas sim in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone could give some tips on twin locator approaches. I've never flown one but guess they are kind of like a straight in NDB?? Any hints appreciated!:)

Just keep trying to maintain one needle ahead and one behind. In nil wind, if the needles move to form a > shape, turn left, if they go <, turn right. ie. turn towards the head of the needles.

Careful of your descent steps. Remember the IFR standard of +50 & 0' at the bottom of the minima; oh and don't forget to TRIM!
