What Aust / NZ schools can you do a PPL at

Have an expat mate whos son is very keen on all things aviation.

Was wondering if anyone could make any suggestions on secondary schools where some flying can be done at.

Thanks

Mt Aspiring College, Wanaka NZ offered an integrated flight-training option as part of their senior curriculum, training to PPL with prep towards CPL I think. Used to be through Aspiring Air at NZWF, not sure if it still is. Excellent outdoor education facilities offered at the same place.

I am studying at Air Centre In Albury NSW Aust., they have a good school, instructors who give a damn and, they do not overcharge.:ok:

I don't know what a PPL costs but a CPL MECIR with Adv. Dip. Av. costs around $40K.;)

...or you could buy one at a capital city sausage factory for $100K!:yuk:

PM me for details or www.aircentre.com

ABX mate do you have a contract with said company for your training with that specific number (40k) on it? The reason I ask is that it seems very cheap for both CPL and MECIR. It cost me around 70k to do both some time ago although I did not do it at the cheapest schools/aircraft by a long shot and it did include extras such as aeros, taildragger etc. 40k for a CPL only seems more likely.

Second thing is: here is a link to their prices, scroll down til you see the table with the costs.

Third thing is: in my post above, I said,

I don't know what a PPL costs but a CPL MECIR with Adv. Dip. Av. costs around $40K.;)

Don't take offence at my question mate I wasn't calling you a liar but it does seem a little on the cheap side......could be done I guess but it would be interesting to see the cost break down.
And in answer to your question re:Corowa, No!
