NZ - Job opening for a fresh CPL

I know of a job going in South Island. 250hrs, CPL and 172 rating a must.

PM me for detail.

Do you need a 172 rating in NZ?

russianthru_thesky 6th Aug 2007 13:24

Yeah in NZ you need a rating on every type of aircraft you fly and have to be 90 day current in them all too. They dont have the single engine under 5700kg blanket endorsement like here

On that note, is there anyother country in the world where you dont need an endorsement for a single engine type?

In europe i found out its the same as NZ, need to be type rated on a single to be able to fly it.

Cheers

Yes the US!

In fact you can fly most multi engine aircraft under 12500lbs (5700kg), with a multi rating too!:ok:

What about Australia for this matter?

iamanaussiemavrick 7th Aug 2007 05:52

In India you need an endorsement for each and every aircraft you need to fly and you also have to give an exam for getting the endorsement.

There are 3 types of cessna 152's even in India 152a, 152b, 152c and there are 3 different exams too... Dont know the difference between all these 152's...

:ok:
