Help With Instructing Jobs

Is it true that with China Southern Airlines College you can't multi instruct without being a Grade one instructor even if you have the multi instructor endorsement.

Thanks.

Do you know how hard it is to become a grade one instructor in Aus how many hours do you need and what sort of test do you have to do. Also can anyone be a grade one instructor. Does anyone know what the interview process involves for China Southern Flying College? Any help i can get will be good.

Check out CAO 40.1.7

4.3 An applicant for the issue of a flight instructor (aeroplane) rating grade 1 must:
(a) have held a flight instructor (aeroplane) rating grade 2 for a period of at
least 12 months; and
(b) have logged at least 750 hours of instructional experience including 500
hours flight time, in a registered aeroplane or a recognised aeroplane,
instructing in sequences specified in the aeroplane syllabus; and
(c) in relation to the original issue of the rating, have passed a written
examination in the principles of teaching and learning. The syllabus for the
examination is specified in Appendix II; and
(d) be recommended by the chief flying instructor; and
(e) have passed a flight test conducted by CASA, an approved testing officer
or an approved person in accordance with the Grade 1 instructor rating test
report form.

CS requirement for Gr 1 on their twins is that most of the twin flying is for the instrument rating. There is no legal reason why they can't use a Gr 2 or 3 with a META and IFR teaching approval but I think it is company policy to only use Gr 1's. When you get your Gr 1 you automatically get an IFR teaching approval so this may be where it comes from.
