I would definitely recommend AFT.

I did my ATPL's at another school, but ended up getting the AFT notes and studying from those rather than the pitiful crap I was being given!

Good luck with them alexandros!

Alexandros,

are you talking about doing one of those CPL/MECIR/ATPL theory 'all in one' courses or do you already have a CPL and just want ATPL theory?

If you're only after ATPL theory, Disco is right, Len Sales is definately the way to go! Have only done Flight Planning and Performance so far, but he is brilliant!:ok:

If you're after a 'all in one' package. You're right, there are plenty of schools in Oz that all advertise this. Some are better than others, but choosing a school is like choosing a car, what suits some, might not suit you. If you can afford to, come to Oz, have a look around at the different schools before you decide where to go, or at least find people who have had experience at these schools. Its a lot of money to spend so do your research. Do a search on this forum for information and opinions on different schools.

Bad Hair Perhaps

This is the sort of question that a paki in Roma might ask. A paki that has had a bad hair day  !

alexandros,
One question are you looking at moving to and working in Australia or returning to Italy and working there?
If your intention is to return to Italy and Fly there you need a JAA licence. A licence issued by CASA (Australian Licence) is not recognised in Italy.

The Western Australian Aviation College is approved by the UK CAA to provide training for a JAA "Frozen" ATPL.
See the website http://www.waaviationcollege.com.au/ and look at the JAA courses.
And Yes I do work for WAAC.

Dont use Secombe Aviation

What ever you do, do not use GAVIN SECOMBE at Bankstown. His courses are over priced, rushed, and crap in general I found. I have studied at both AFT and Secombe Aviation and would recommend Nathan any day over Gavin.

Thanks for the tip. I've been tossing up between Secombe and AFT and I have been swaying towards the latter. Yours and Aussie's feedback has made it a little easier for me to decide. Thanks.

Cheers!

Guys, You cant argue with the fact that Nathan Higgins at AFT has the best pass rate. End of story.... I mean... Even I passed them all lol:ooh:

The Guy is a legend:ok:
