Twin jobs in Brisbane Area
Does anyone know any twin operators in the Sunshine Coast/Brisbane/Gold Coast area that recruit charter pilots ie 2000TT 500ME. There seems to be a lack of GA in this region?
Cheers. |
Not much GA in the area and everyone wants to be here, so jobs on twins in the area as as rare as rocking horse s*it, and if it's available it will most likely be a word of mouth job.
Not just in GA, as far as i've heard 737 Brisbane base is one of the hardest in QF to get as well! |
Why not try Great Western Aviation.
Five Navajo's and a B200. Some staff moving on |
Try Seair; Islanders, Twotters, Senecas and Caravans. Bases i believe in Maroochy, Gold Coast and Hervey Bay.

Can anybody in the know say what the requirements are for the above organisations and what their operations are like from personal experience?
Cheers, DoD |

If you've got the spare cash you could also consider giving Qantaslink(Sunstate) a try. Possible downside may be a stint on the Q400 down in CBR.

A fair while back there was a large volume of comment on twin jobs in Brisbane.
Do a search and see what you find. I just know that a couple have gone to Metro's, one to SA and another elsewhere. I am too far removed to make comment. |
Unless you have particular experience that is needed, as soon as you limit yourself to a particular area you limit your options to almost zero. Try Thursday Island for a better chance.
