Anything that has:

SYA, SYE, SYX, SYH
LTI, LTM, LTJ, LTL
BZM, BZX, BZI, BZJ

and accompanied with funny accents, are the C172 flown by the crew at SFC.

SQC, SCJ, SQF, SQG, JDN, JWP are the Barons (which are all dual flights! :ok: )

I think some of the Fugro ones are VH-WG_

WGS, WGT, etc. They have a few others in the fleet too though.

Lots of China Southern Grobs are Bxx. Quite a few are ZIx. Can usually tell which ones they are. :}
VMI, VMJ, VMK, VML, VMM are China Southern's Senecas.

FDN is TAC's BE58, WDE the BE55. IYK is their P.68, KKN and SXU are their two M20s. TEE is a Piper of some sort, YLO is the CAP10 while YNA, YNB and ECD are Diamonds.
ECD is owned by a university and thus can be used by RACWA too. The uni also has ECA, ECU and LDK, C152 and 2x C172RG.

FIG is one of Minovation's Tomahawks. They also have BYE, ELD, KKQ, KTP, PMW, PXH and PZK, all of which are various Pipers.

Air Australia has RKU (Cherokee Six) JXY (Robin), IGY (172), IGX (152), AOH (152), WLQ (172), LRN (Seneca), ESY (Seneca) and BEZ (172).

The RFDS aircraft are usually xWO:
CWO, HWO, IWO, KWO, LWO, MWO, NWO, VWO, ZWO. A mix of PC-12s and B200s.
Two exceptions are FDG and KFN, think they are B200s.

Curtain Flying Club has WFV (152) and WFU (172 - pax'd in this one and it was very nice!), MVD (172, pax'd also), CFG (172) and CFC (182).

Heliwest has RZO (R22), RZT (Hughes 300) and lots of Jet Rangers, two being KHK and BEL. (Flown in BEL a number of times...back when it was bigger and had two engines!! Ex B212 with Mayne-Bristow, those were the days! :ok:)
I think DUS a B47. They also have a few fixed wings, UBF I think is a 402.

Jandakot Helicopters have ZJP (Squirrel), HVF (R44) and JHI and JHZ (R22s). I'm sure they own a Jetranger too but the rego escapes me.

Fighter Combat International's Nanchangs are FCD, FCE and FCF. Usually go by, "RED DRAGONS."

WAH is the Police BK117 and EWA is the RAC Rescue B412. Callsigns POLAIR and RESCUE. Correct me if I'm wrong. :8

Sometimes you'll get Skipper's conquests out of Perth, regos FMQ, LBA, LBC, LBX, LBY and LBZ.

Kent Street Highschool has SHS, an RV-6 which I think lives somewhere in one of the hangers behind RACWA.

CWN, DOB, JMG, SMC and TEV are all C210s and live just up the road from TAC, near Minovation.

That list should keep you busy for awhile. :E

DIQ(C152),
KQK(C172),
RIX(C310),
ING(C550),
AMB (BE20),

Thats all I know for now. Oh wait a minute, these are Wedgefield.

thanks again for the replies

flightfocus 13th May 2006 03:23

Yesterday was the day before today.

You might want to refine your question.... Help us answer it :hmm:

aviation85 20th May 2006 08:38

i just heard that there was an incident on the runway thats all

Awol57 20th May 2006 09:02

They're not that unusual.

The one I think you are refering to was a C172 that lined up without a clearance, during the runway change. He should have held short of 12, but on 06L I think, but entered 12.

Thats all I can recall happening yesterday.
