Interview Books

Just wondering what books people use/have used for preparing for their interviews? Pshyc? Sim? etc...

And what books for what airlines?

What about if your working what do you use to improve knowledge?

Regards,
NF

Try a web search for useful material for the personal side of the interview. Has included recommended book and web resources for study regards the technical side. Also included some tips and hints from the lads down at the Ansett flight simulator centre, Melbourne.

Have posted this before but on a different thread.

Ace The Technical Pilot Interview
Bristow, Gary V.
ISBN 0-07-139609-8

'tis an excellent book for brushing up on all things technical that get lost in that cloud of grey matter, normally used for remembering good places to drink and eat.

Have to disagree with you on that one, Twin.

Bristow's book asks a lot of good questions, but many of his answers are incomplete, inaccurate, poorly explained, and a couple are just plain wrong.

A good effort if it was promoted for what it is -- one bloke's groundschool notes, and a good set of questions to get your head back in the books. But an aviation text it is not. Use it in conjunction with HTBJ (Davies) etc.
