Does a type rating count for a MEIR initial issue?

Converting a foreign license, got all the atpls and the IREX, and planning to have a type rating put on my license (CASA has already said it is acceptable to them) BUT forgot to ask will this count for the initial issue of my MEIR?

no, you will be required to sit a flight test for the instrument rating.
