Just having a few beers with some old mates from darwin and they were saying that a couple of other GA groups(Direct & Ausjet) are on the way out with maintenance being a major factor.

Choice Bro
good but bad.
met some of the best people in that company, still mates years later. but as one door closes another opens i suppose. |
dont think too many in the dn GA scene will miss a certain little pinhead and associated antics
vandalising other companies equipment dobbing overtaking on the left , slowing up in the circuit and taxing at snails pace and other "small man syndrome" antics :yuk: :yuk: :yuk: |

Looking at AN's ops manual, and the manner in which the ops requirements were written, a big part of the reason is some - - - - - self annointed beaurecratic half wit was trying to justify his own position. Talk about restrictive practices, and nothing whatever to do with safety and commercial practicality..... enufsaid Naturally you'd agree with anyone who put the boot into the Company you left yet tried so desperately to get back into, but rejected you. I find it highly amusing you overlook the irony of yourself and commercial practicality. What's commercially viable about a flight that has reached 75% of its payload when only the pilot's weight is taken into account? Karma is alive and well, particularly in aviation. :) :) |
Sorry I missed some.
SP and PA. Sorry but like I said I was up all night with that poem.
SP, I am sure you will so well. Go hard and keep smiling. PA. Good luck down there. Watch out for ice crossing them mountains. AND, once again, THREE CHEERS FOR JOCK!!!! :ok: |
3RAR,
Check your PM's |
The continued use of the word "abo" air to refer to aboriginal air services and the smart little phrases used to mock the way aboriginal people talk show a complete lack of maturity by some of the posters to this site! Typical of a lot of Australian's " I am not a racist but!" or "It's just a word".
|
Downwards,
Then you should please use the airlines' correct name and do not abbreviate as "Aboriginal Air Services". The correct name is..."Ngurratjuta Air and Ngaanyatjarra Air and Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Air and Janami Air trading as Aboriginal Air Services" FYI even people who work and own and use these airlines refer to them as "AbAir" and "Pee Why Air". It's just handy abbreviation not an evil attempt by the master race to take over the planet. |
Thank-you, ResBunny. Good to see someone knows how to spell.
Keeping Strong :ok: |
Shortened Words !!!
Hey Downwards,
After 10 years in the West Kimberley's, I have quite a few 3/4 + cast aboriginals as very good friends. They wanted to know what is wrong with calling them "abo" - as we are Australians, and have no objections to being called aussie. They are quite happy with that abbreviation. |
