Looking for C210/C206 rental in East Australia
 

Hi guys

I am looking for a flying club anywhere on the East Coast of Australia that has a C210 to rent.

In fact, I am actually looking for a high-winged single-engined 6-seater but it would seem that the C210 is the only General Aviation aircraft that is available (except the C210's brother variants C206, etc).

Bluewater Aviation in Townsville have a 210 and 206 for private hire.

queensland aviation services in Caloundra QLD will sort you out.

If your in FNQ then Barrier Aviation Cairns has access to 2 x C206 an F model and an earlier type which I can't remember but has the old style panel. they now have a CPL ME IFR school and can get you checked on type if required.

Ive heard there is a guy at Redcliffe who owns a 206, he does the odd endorsment but Im not 100% sure. Hempels at Archerfield has a great 210.

Planet Aviation I think have moved from Hedlow and have a 210, but I think you need 300 hours to hire it privately.
Hempels has the only 210 on the field at AF and they will try and get 3 hours dual out of you. Johnston's in PMQ cross hire a 206 that has a STOL kit and they seem to get quite a few people there gaining some time on it.

Dicko, FYI BCY is a pretty old lady - but a very tidy well maintained, low time machine - and Wedderburn is the best airfield in the Sydney basin about 10nm SE Camden.
